DRAKE, Peter Elliott
Peacefully in hospital surrounded by family, on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the age of 90. Born in Toronto, ON, on October 1, 1927, he was the son of the late Paul Drake and Louise (nee Barnett). Predeceased by his wife Patricia. He will be greatly missed by his children Tracy (Pat Coghlan), Terry (Kim) and Virginia (Joe Meehan); his grandchildren Alexandra, Stephanie, Jessica, Sean, Nicholas, Kate, Melissa, Alexa, Maeve, Michael and great-granddaughter Perkins. Predeceased by his grandson Cauley and his sister Virginia Ammon. Special thanks to the caring and attentive staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Family and friends may pay respects at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre – 2500 Baseline Road, on Thursday, May 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial Service to take place at St. John the Apostle Church – 2340 Baseline Road, on Friday, May 18, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to CHEO would be appreciated.
