Mike loved his family above all things whether camping, canoeing, playing hockey, playing golf or board games Mike gave his all. He loved to joke and debate and challenge. Mike cared dearly about his responsibilities at all points in his career and always wanted the best for the people he worked with and saw everyone's potential.
The family would like to extend appreciation to Dr. Vickers and the Oncology team at the Irving Greenberg Cancer Center. A special thank you to Dr. Shirley Bush and the team at the Elizabeth Bruyère Palliative Care Center for all of the loving care and compassion extended to Mike during his illness.
Also, a deep heartfelt thank you to the entire Office of the Auditor General family. Your continuous support and encouragement was instrumental in getting Mike and his family through this difficult time, he loves each and everyone of you very much.
Rest in Peace Mike you will always be remembered... such a beautiful man.
