ALAM, Georges Mikhael
Passed peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Friday morning, March 4th 2016 at the age of 71. Born in Zahle, Lebanon on April 19th, 1944, he was the son of the late Mikhael and Annise Alam. Survived by his beloved wife Suzanne (nee Jean-Louis), his sons Joseph (Lisa) and Michael and his granddaughter Mia. He was the dear brother of Marie, Souad (Late Nicholas), Tanous (Dalal), Layla (Late Abdo), Julia and Amal (Mike). Predeceased by his brothers Joseph and Khalil. Specials thanks to all family and friends across the world in Canada, Lebanon, and Australia. Also, special thanks to the staff at the Ottawa Heart Institute Cardiology and Ottawa Civic Campus Nephrology units. A dedicated Entrepreneur in the Hintonburg community (Fairmont Confectionery), Georges' visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre – 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Tuesday, March 8th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Funeral Service to take place at St. Charbel Maronite Church – 245 Donald Street, Ottawa, on Wednesday, March 9th at 11:00a.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
