Peacefully and still with a sense of humour, at the Osgoode Care Centre, Metcalfe, Ontario in her 96th year.
Predeceased by her parents Captain L.H. Wingate, and Jessie Isobel (née Cameron), brothers John, Herb, Laurence, Arthur, Ken and sister Joan Ambridge. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Lifelong friend of Jean Wilde.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Osgoode Care Centre for their kindness and care of Alice the past several years.
Friends are invited to visit at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Friday, November 24 from 10 – 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the Pinecrest Chapel. Interment and reception to follow.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, in-memoriam donations may be made to the Osgoode Care Centre or the charity of your choice.
