In Celebration of

Wilfred "Bill" Davison

February 19, 1926 -  November 4, 2020

In the early hours of November 4, 2020, at the Alta Vista Manor in Ottawa, Wilfred 'Bill' Davison, passed away quietly with the strength and courage he showed all his life.

Beloved husband of Margaret Veitch. Bill was the loving father of Peter Howard and the caring father-in-law of Louise. He will be fondly remembered by his nephews and nieces, their spouses and children, and the friends of the family. His passing leaves a big void in our lives. He was predeceased by his four siblings: Anne (Bob), Tom (Lillian), Joe (Eveline) and Hilda (Munroe).

Bill and Margaret came to Canada from England in 1955, with their two-year old son. They would have celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary in December of this year. Bill dedicated his life to his family and his work, including building a cottage. He worked for the Ottawa Board of Education for over 30 years. He was a WW2 veteran seeing action in Europe and serving in Palestine.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the cottage at a yet undetermined time.

Special thanks go to the third floor staff of the Alta Vista Manor for their kindness and care.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army. Online condolences can be sent to
