In Celebration of

Wayne Francis Brownlee

September 5, 1945 -  October 29, 2020

Our precious Wayne passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones including his constant companion Jack Russell - Paris. Wayne was the loving husband of Susan Brownlee and the late Cathie Brownlee; predeceased by his infant son Jeffrey; cherished son of Frank and the late Muriel Brownlee and dear brother of Faye (Rick) Moore, Elaine (Ron) Price, Ken (Debbie) Brownlee and the late firefighter Gary Brownlee. He will be deeply missed by his family, and shared close bonds with his uncle (retired OFS District Chief Allen Brownlee) and wife Denise, along with sister-in-law Margaret Peck. He also treasured many good friendships. Wayne was a long time member of the Ottawa Fire Services, advancing himself to District Chief. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending classic car meets in his 1969 GTO. Because of Covid restrictions the family will be holding a small private service, with a celebration of life at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.colefuneralservices.com. Donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation through their website (CPFF.CA), or a cause of choice.
