Steven Michael Nelson

December 7, 1963 -  November 25, 2020

On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, Steven Michael Nelson, succumbed to complications of infection in his 56th year. Steven is predeceased by his parents Glenn and Karen Nelson (nee Wilson). He will be remembered by his family: sisters, Glenda Nelson (David Benes) (Samantha), Laura Marshall (Chris) (Shannon and Jordan), his daughter, Kayla Nelson (Andrew Zeman) (Lucas and Ryder).The partners he shared his life with; Heather Masters (Stephanie and Leslie) and Nathalie Lambert (late Shane, Nicole, Aurora). He will also be remembered by his Uncle Rudy Nemic (late Joyce Wilson), Aunt Carolanne Wilson (late John Wilson), Aunt Connie Nelson (late Lyle Nelson), Aunt Hazel Lawson (late Robert Lawson), Uncle Robert Nelson (Trudy), Aunt Sharon Pettey (Doug), and his many cousins. Memorial donations can be made in Steven’s name to the Salvation Army Ottawa Branch. Online condolences may be made at www.colefuneralservices.com. A virtual memorial will take place for family and friends by invitation.

A lot of the words I thought this day would never come. I'm glad that you are no longer suffering and in pain, you are in a peaceful place. I miss you very much. I hope we can meet again, we will eventually get our second chance!

May he be at peace and pain free. He was mercurial and intense but that was just because he cared so much. He could take anything apart and put it back together again. I will now do the same by putting together the best memories I have; there were many laughs. Thank you.
