In Celebration of

Sadhana Nagnur

August 30, 1940 -  September 16, 2020

Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, September 16th, 2020 at the age of 80. Sadhana is predeceased by her husband Dhruva. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Shubha, son-in-law Richard, grandsons, Arjun and Tejas and her beloved cat Titus. Sadhana was born in Madikeri, India and lived in Madras and Bangalore before bravely emigrating to Canada alone at the age of 28. She lived in Toronto before settling in Ottawa in the home she has lived in since 1973. She worked as a teacher in India but she was most proud of her 27 years she worked at OHIP. Along the way, she has gathered many friends and was able to keep in touch with all her relatives, who will all miss her greatly. In life, she was known for her fierce independence, great humour, good nature, no nonsense attitude and her deep love for Roger Federer.

We would like to thank the staff on H4 at the Ottawa Heart Institute for the incredible care, compassion and for taking the time to sit and chat with her. She was a generous person to many charities, so in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Sadhanakka ( older sister)was one of my favorite cousins and a wonderful human being. She was always cheerful and joyful. Had a great sense of humor. We used to have good laughs when ever we talked . She had a great attitude towards life. Never complained even though she had health problems. We will always cherish the wonderful time we had together. Will miss her a lot.
Roger Federer lost one of his greatest fans !
