In Celebration of

Ruth Mary Antoniades (née Hayball)

December 31, 1924 -  November 3, 2020

Mom passed peacefully in her sleep with her daughter Beth and her granddaughter Colleen at her side holding her hands and saying goodbye.

Mom will join her husband and love of her life Michael Theodore Antoniades, who passed away February 3, 2010. She will be greatly missed by her son, Theodore (Ted) (Michelle), her daughter Beth Chevalier (Patrick), her granddaughter Colleen (Derek) and grandson Michael. She will also be missed by many of her nieces and nephews, sisters- and brothers-in-law in Toronto and Montreal, and close family friends Donna and Brian Padfield of Mount Forest.

Family would like to take this opportunity to thank the kind and very compassionate staff of Forest Hill Retirement Home in Kanata, especially Linda Meng, Layla Aden, Marjorie Lovell and Craig Forrest. Mom made many friendships at Forest Hill, including Marilyn Orr and Trent Hein, where together they enjoyed organized events like trivia nights, euchre, and bingo, shared many laughs, Cheetos, scotch mints and an ice-cold beer on those hot summer days.

Rest in peace Mom/Nana we love you dearly.
"I love you, you love me, and that makes it all good”

A private funeral service will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery on Saturday, November 7. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice in Ruth’s memory would be appreciated.

Ruthymoo. You will always be in our hearts while reminiscing the good old times dancing, singing and our long talks. We always enjoyed your visits to Toronto. My mother Georgia Stylianou enjoyed your warm loving welcome when she visit you and Michael in Ottawa.
She would stay with you for a week. Going to Bingo, enjoying your company, and of course the BBQs and your beautiful home.
We will forever remember the LOVE you had for your family. The everlasting Love Of your husband Michael. The Love of your children Ted and Beth as they were your world. Your grandchildren Colleen and Michael were your pride and joy.
We will keep your memory alive by sharing your stories with family and friends.
