Ronald "Sandy" Harold McPherson

Peacefully on July 15, 2020. Dear brother of Nancy Armstrong (Mark), and Bruce (Margie). Son of the late Major Charles Ronald McPherson and Margaret Jean (nee Potter). Special Uncle to many nephews and nieces. Sandy was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed. Our family would like to thank the staff at Granite Ridge for their care and support. Memorial donations can be made to The Royal Ottawa Hospital. Private family service and internment at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa.

I remember Sandy when first visiting Uncle Ron and Aunt Jean in Montreal back in the late 60's when Sandy was a little lad. He was so happy to show me his latest drawings and we had a lovely little visit. I met him later in the 80's at his parents' house and remember him as a kind, gentle fellow. God speed, cousin!

Sorry for your loss, always remember him in nets and us blasting him with tennis balls, not to mention the bank of Sandy, which I may have hit up once or twice, usually on a Friday night. That man loved his Cokes

Sandy - you are up there with your pad and paper waiting for Baseball to start again. BTW - who was the Pitcher and At Bat run leader in the World Series in 1999. Trust me: Sandy knew. Say hi to your folks for me. All the best.
