<div itemprop="description">Margaret Klassen-Church (nee Woodfin) <br> <br>**Change to funeral date: <br>Due to the current health concerns it has been decided that the Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be postponed until Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. Service at 11:00 followed by a Reception. <br> <br> <br>Margaret died February 29, at her home, surrounded by family. She was the loving wife of her first husband, Wing Commander Wier Klassen, and her second, Squadron Leader Bob Church. She is survived by: John (Bernice), Dave (Debbie), Bob (Cathy), and Chris (Tina), and by Murray Church (Kirsten Peterson), and Lynne (nee Church) Loken (Doug). Mom loved family gatherings and visits with her thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. <br> <br>Margaret was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Over 94 rich and active years, Mom was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, homemaker, businesswoman, superior seamstress, pastry chef, enthusiastic doll-collector, excellent cook, traveller, needlepointer, master baker, income tax expert, gardener, life-long choir singer and soloist, charitable benefactor at home and abroad, and a warm and wise friend. <br> <br>Family would like to thank the staff at Park Place, especially those on the second floor at 110 Central Park, for years of support and for Mom’s special care at the end. <br> <br>A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. Service at 11:00 followed by a reception. <br> <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to give to the charity of their choice, in memoriam of Margaret. <br> <br></div>
