Mallory Grace Jasek
(nee Shorten)
November 8, 1988 to March 5, 2020

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mallory on Thursday morning March 5th, 2020.

Beloved wife and best friend of Andrew Jasek. Loving daughter of Dawn and Craig Shorten. Dear sister of Whitney (Gary) and Travis (Kayla). Dear sister-in-law to Paul (Cathy), Jennifer (Derek), Jonathan (Chelsea), Alexandra and Joshua. Wonderful daughter-in-law to Adam and Tamara Jasek and Muriel and Claude Tremblay. Loving auntie to her nieces and nephews and will be missed by all of her family that she loved so much. Special mom to NikNak (Niki) who will also miss her dearly.

Mallory was a wonderful sous-chef to Andrew, baker extraordinaire, fashionista with a love of music/the Simpsons and the outdoors. Her creativity shone through her artwork, personal aesthetics and flare for design. But mostly she will be remembered for her loving and lasting relationships she formed with family and friends and her special connection with the geriatric community. Mallory had a fire in her soul matched only by the red in her hair. She has left us too early but her light will continue to shine on everyone she has touched.

‘I am as constant as a northern star.” ~ Joni Mitchell

Please join us in celebrating her life at NeXT Restaurant, 6400 Hazeldean Road from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Thursday, March 12th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
