Linda Moffatt (nee Johnson)

July 23, 1950 -  April 25, 2020



Passed away peacefully on April 25, 2020 at Granite Ridge Care Community in Stittsville Ontario at the age of 69. Linda was originally from Billingham England.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Johnson (Feaver) and her father Clifford Johnson. She is survived by her sisters Barbara (Doug Parker), Valerie (Lawrence Prudhoe), her brother Leslie (Andrea Johnson) all living in England, and her aunt Sybil Oswald (Feaver) of Brockville. She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, by Gary, Hélène, Gillian, Jeff and families and by her good friend Susan Fenn. She was retired from her job at the City of Ottawa where she worked for many years. Linda cared deeply for her family and she loved to travel and visit them all.

She was passionate for movies, an avid reader and an excellent cook. She will also be remembered for her benevolence and voluntary work with Meals on Wheels.

At her request no service will be held. Her ashes will be buried at the Pinecrest Cemetery 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa.

The family would like to thank the staff at Granite Ridge and her friend Susan Fenn for their care and dedication.

Barbara, Valerie and Leslie, we are very sorry for the loss of your dearest sister Linda. We are going to miss her, our family gatherings and outings wont be the same anymore but we will cherish all the good memories of all the good times with her.
