Lalitha Nair
January 1, 1930 - November 4, 2019
Lalitha (Dolly) Nair passed away peacefully at St. Patrick’s Home, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 89 years old. Lalitha was predeceased by her husband Ramakrishnan Nair. She is survived by son Gopinath (Usha), daughter Geeta Grier (Michael), grandchildren Vivek, Vidhya (Kameron Budhram), and Dylan (Sarah Runyon), and by special nephew Michael Pillai.
Lalitha was widely renowned for her most excellent cooking, and was an avid gardener, but her greatest passion was for her family, over whom she presided with love, pride, kindness and good humour. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Family would like to thank staff on Kilkenny at St. Pat’s for their warmth and caring.
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Patrick’s Home, Ottawa would be gratefully acknowledged.
A celebration of Lalitha’s life will be held Thursday November 7 at 12:30 pm at Pinecrest Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road.
