Julie La Pegna

September 1, 1950 -  March 24, 2020

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Julie La Pegna on March 24, 2020 at the age of 69. Julie will be greatly missed by her lifelong friend and husband of 46 years Vince, and her two sons Christopher (Sarah), David (Aisha). Cherished grand mum to Sakina and Sulaiman. Julie’s memory will live on and be remembered by her sisters-in law, Maria (Luc), Pina (Patrick), nieces Liza and Pamela, nephew Jonathan, her grandniece Olivia and many close family members and friends.
Julie also had a great love for her cats, Chloe and Shiloh. It made her so happy to have them by her side. Her great love of family and joy of life will live on in our hearts forever.
Many thanks to the wonderful staff at the Ottawa General Hospital for their compassionate care.
There will be a private family interment on Monday March 30, 2020.

Vince and Family,
I am shocked and very saddened to learn of Julie's death. A marvellous woman who had a heart of gold and shared it. I remember well so many kindnesses afforded me by Julie, especially that day you both came to the rescue at the show where I had been badly bitten.
