In Celebration of

Jennifer Dorothy Sullivan

September 14, 1965 -  May 15, 2020

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Jennifer Dorothy Sullivan at the age of 54, with her beloved husband and soul mate of 23 years, Brian Stanke, at her side on May 15, 2020. Jennifer will be forever and dearly missed by her adoring daughters, Megan and Kate, whom she loved with all her heart, her loving parents Allen and Beverly Sullivan and sister Erin (Jeff). Jennifer will be remembered by her many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Jennifer will also be missed by her dear cat Zozo and join her beloved Chloe in Heaven. Although Jennifer dedicated her life to the care and nurturing of her family, she received a B.A. (Honours) from University of Toronto, Trinity College, in 1988 and an MA from Carleton University in 1992. We love you Jennifer and we miss you. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario. For those wishing, donations in memory of Jennifer to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.

Jennifer had a warm, bright and kind smile that would light up the room. She was always happy to stop and chat on her many walks to see her parents and she was a devoted mother and wife to her family. I am so sad for your loss Brian, Megan and Katie and to her parents and sister, Erin. I will miss our impromptu chats on chance meetings in the neighbourhood, and her kindness. Thankfully she will live on in the hearts and minds of her chdren and those who loved her. Bless you all.
