<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved Jean Constance Stone passed away with grace and dignity on Sunday, October 27, at the age of 98. She was residing at Perth Community Care. Jean was born in Ottawa on April 30, 1921. She was predeceased by the love of her life Lloyd Stone (2011) her husband of 73 years. Cherished mother of Ronald (Marjorie), Constance Costello (late Garry), Michael (Corrie). Loving Grandmother to Gordon (Shelley), Tammy (Jon), Colleen, Allen (Kerry), Jeffrey (Tina) and Jennifer (Mike). A beloved Great Grandmother to, Courtney, Brett (Laura), Carley, Adrianna, Marcey, Morgan and Molly. Her life was devoted to family, tending to the needs of her late parents Albert and Alice Godbold and later for her late sister Phyllis Morris. Her brothers predeceased her, Patrick Richard and Walter Godbold. She loved plants and flowers and having her hands in the earth. Lloyd and Jean called Smiths Falls their second home and spent many happy hours with the Costello family. They were known as Nanny and Champs to many in the Falls. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Van Horne Retirement Residence and also the staff at Perth Community Care where she received exceptional care and kindness. Friends may visit at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow.
