<div itemprop="description">After a hard-fought battle with Glioblastoma, Harry sadly passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 21st, 2018. Beloved husband of Michelle Maltby. Loving father of Devin & Steven. Cherished Guppie of Annabelle & Jacqueline. Much loved father in-law of Brittany. Dear brother of Val, Linda, Wendy, Donna, Joanne (predeceased) , Lori & Marty. Special Uncle to many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces & Great Nephews. He will be missed by many family & friends. <br><br>Harry spent his life dedicated to his community by contributing as a hockey coach, cub leader & much more. Harry was very passionate about hockey (Ottawa Senators in particular) & carried great effort & leadership in his work, sport and life. In recent years he was actively involved with the Knights of Columbus at St. Justin’s Parish in London ON where he ultimately became a Grand Knight. <br><br>Harry’s generosity and kindness was felt by everyone who crossed his path. He had unconditional love towards his family, friends and most notably his Grand-daughters which will live-on with all of us forever. <br><br>The family wishes to thank the medical staff of Victoria & University Hospitals in London ON, Civic & General Hospitals of Ottawa & Home Care providers (LHIN) for their kindness and compassion <br><br>Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26th, 2018 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 27th at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 2340 Baseline Road, Ottawa followed by a reception in the church basement. <br><br>For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada and/or Sit With Me Dog Rescue. <br><br>Memorial mass at St Justine's Parish in London ON, to be announced<br></div>
