Surrounded by the love of her family, Evelyn Watson passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her husband of almost 60 years, Robert Watson. Beloved mother to her sons and daughters-in-law: James, Douglas (Joan McCarthy), Ian (Holly Watson), and Andrew (Jan Cox); devoted Grandma to Ashley (Lino Goncalves), Jamie (Joe Coverley), Megan, Matthew (Shawnee Belleville), Kirsti, Emma, Duncan, Patrick and Scott; and loving great grandmother to Maya and Max. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Bobby and Betty in Scotland and Isla in Australia with whom she maintained very close connections in spite of the great distance. Evelyn will be remembered as a selfless and kind-hearted woman and was known for her graciousness and generosity. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family is extremely grateful for the kind and compassionate care by the staff at Forest Hill in Kanata over the past five years. A Funeral Service will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1 p.m.
