Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Murray. Loving mother of Michael (Patricia), David and Louise (Barry). Special mother-in-law of Gyneth Farley. Cherished grandmother of Joshua, Alec, Evan, Madeline and Colin. <br> <br>Betty was predeceased by her parents Duncan and Mary McEachern of Sarnia ON, father and mother-in-law Gilbert and Rose Murray of Dublin ON, sister Sally O’Reilly and husband Jim, sister Katherine McCormack and husband Bill, and brother Dan McEachern all of Sarnia ON, brother Stephen McEachern of Long Island New York, sister Anna Peck and husband Walter of Port Huron Michigan, and brother-in-law Harry Cremers of Calgary AB. <br> <br>She also was predeceased by her loving in-laws Martin Murray and wife Theresa of Seaforth ON, Patrick Murray and wife Patricia of London ON, Ron Butters of St. Thomas ON, Dr. Joseph Murray and wife Olga of Guelph ON, Dan Costello of Kitchener ON, and Betty Ryan and husband Jack of Seaforth ON. <br> <br>She leaves behind her sister Joan Hawkins and husband John of Windsor ON, sister Colleen Cremers of Calgary, AB, brother David McEachern and wife Anne of Wyoming ON, sister-in-law Jean McEachern of Sarnia ON, sister-in-law Annabelle Walters of New Port Ritchie Florida, loving in-laws Leon and Rosemary Murray of Toronto ON, Rita Butters of St. Thomas, Rose Costello of Kitchener ON, and Mary and Bobby Stapleton of Kitchener ON. <br> <br>Betty will be sadly missed by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. <br> <br>She originated from a large Cape Breton family that were very close. We all have many fond memories of her warm heart and quick wit. I wish we could share more time. <br> <br>Thank you to her doctors, Dr. Alin Morariu and Dr. Tania Zakhem for your care, and her palliative nurses and personal support workers for giving her dignity and comfort. Special thanks for the continued support and love from family, friends and neighbors.<br> <br>A Memorial Service will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 4 pm. An inurnment ceremony for family will take place in Calabogie, ON, at a later date in the summer to be announced. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Christian Horizon (Ottawa).
