<div itemprop="description">Eleanor Ann Wildman (nee Romani)<br><br>Passed away peacefully on December 23, 2017. Predeceased by her husband George Wildman. Eleanor is survived by her son, Michael, his wife Geraldine whom she adored and her three grandsons, Landon (Kailee), Aaron (Kristen) and Kaelen all of whom she loved and was exceedingly proud of. Eleanor was the daughter of Alphonse and Annie Romani. Survived by her sisters Frances, Edith, Roma, Theresa, Lorraine and Elaine (Fern), brothers Don (Linda) and Joe (Darlene) and predeceased by her sisters, Corinne, Mary, Melina, Anita. Eleanor will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.<br> <br>Eleanor had a remarkable career as a human resources professional for the City of Ottawa. Upon retiring, Eleanor enjoyed travelling and volunteering for the Ottawa Heart Institute, Centrepointe Theater, St. Anthony’s Ladies Aid and many other annual fund raising events.<br> <br>The Wildman family would like to extend a very special thanks to the Ottawa General Hospital 6th floor nursing staff for the wonderful care provided to Eleanor and especially to Dr. Sebastien Gilbert for making it possible for our mother and grandmother to be with us for so many years after her cancer diagnosis.<br> <br>A celebration of Eleanor’s life will take place on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. Family and friends are invited to gather for refreshments following the service. <br> <br>Donations in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ottawa General Hospital or a charity of your choice would be welcomed with thanks. <br></div>
