It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ted on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Loving husband and best friend, Louise, his wife of 70 years, will be lost without him. Caring father of David, Cathryn (Barry), and Lynda (Sven). Affectionate Grampa of Kelly (Jesse), Reagen (Robin), Leigh (Braeden), Laura, Katrina, Stephanie (David) and Rebecca. Proud great grandfather of Grady, Isla, Lawson, Elouise, Sullivan, Elliott, Cheyanne, Colton, Calleigh-Jade and Henry. Ted will be missed by so many family members and friends who have been a cherished part of his life. After his service in WWll in the RCAF, Ted joined Trans Canada Airlines (Air Canada). Working for Air Canada gave Ted and Louise the opportunity to travel together to many of the places they always wanted to see. One of his enjoyable achievements was capturing his family and friends through his photography and displaying the photos in his many albums. Everyone has enjoyed leafing through our family history. Special thanks for the wonderful care Ted received from the staff of Gatineau 2 North at the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre. A true gentleman throughout his life, Ted will always be remembered as a kind and caring man loved for his creativity and wonderful sense of humour. He will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be deeply appreciated.
