Clayton worked at the National Research Council. For over twenty years he suffered the deterioration of Parkinson’s Disease. In 2008 a stroke took his speech and paralyzed his left side. Through it all he never complained. The last word he spelled out was “JESUS” and he pointed to a plaque over his door which read “What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear.” Special thanks to the staff at Carleton Lodge for their kindness and understanding. Friends are invited to visit at Pinecrest Remembrance Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place in Pinecrest Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at Rideauview Bible Chapel, 1249 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
