Carol Pettapiece (nee Bley)



Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Ralph for 29 years. Loving mother of Paula (Rick), Ray Bourgon. Predeceased by her son, Dean Wayne Johanson. Proud grandmother of Kelsey, Tyler and Grand dogs Quincy, Oscar and Gabby. Predeceased by Grand dogs Bud and Felix.

Thank you to Dr. Steward and Dr. McRae, of the nurses on the 6th floor and the radiation technicians at the General Hospital. To the staff at the chemo unit at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and 1st floor radiation unit. To Dr. Hacker and the doctors and nurses at St. Elizabeth and the caregivers from Paramed and her friends at CMPA.

I knew Carol, i was lucky to work closely with Carol. My heart is sad to hear the news. My deepest sympathies for the family in this hard time. My prayers are to Carol , Ralph and her whole family.
Carol was a sweet lady. I will miss her.

I was sad to hear about the passing of Carol. I have so many fond memories of our friendship over the years. She was truly a wonderful mentor and a kind heartfelt friend to many. Condolences to the entire family. May you find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. Like many of us, we will treasure the memories.
