In Celebration of

Beatrice Lillian Morris

January 4, 1936 -  April 21, 2020

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother Beatrice Lillian Morris (Sponagle). She passed peacefully on April 21, 2020 at Carlingview Manor of Ottawa at the age of 84. She will be reunited with her dear husband of 65 years John, who predeceased her in 2016.

Loving mother of Barbara, Laura, Beatrice, Bernice, Sandra, Lisa and her late son, John. (2018)

A grandmother to Tony, Kevin, Ashley, Lisa Marie, Josh, Peter, Shawn, Gilles, Michael, Samantha, Matthew and her late granddaughter Laura (2018). Great grandmother of 8. Survived by her twin sister Bernice Wilbur of Pickering, ON. Predeceased by her siblings Rosie Lortie, Mildred Quillan, Tina Turpin, Frank Sponagle and Raymond Sponagle.

Mom was a strong, social and selfless woman. She was young at heart and had a heart of gold. Mom always ensured that the people around her and in her life were okay and happy. She loved to travel, shop, play cards and go to the BINGO. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Nurses and PSW at Carlingview Manor for their passionate care and kindness, especially Nurse Kim.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

For those who would like to make a donation in memory of Beatrice, please consider the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

Granny had to have been one of the strongest, most upfront people I have ever met. I miss her as she always knows how to tell it how it is. Love you
