<div itemprop="description">Barbara Jaymes Bouchard (née Holley) <br> <br>Peacefully in Ottawa, with her family by her side, on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Born in Decatur, Illinois, on November 10, 1942, she was the daughter of the late James and Vera Holley. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Réjean Bouchard. Also survived by her dear daughters Tina (Mike Morris) and Anne-Marie (Harold Fudge); her grandchildren William and Christopher Morris and Madeleine and Henry Fudge, and her siblings Steve Holley, Rick (Carol) Holley and Sheryl Holley. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many dear friends. After Barbara retired from teaching at Glebe High School, she was able to devote more time to travelling, playing bridge, reading and spending time with her family. The family wishes to thank Ontario Champlain Local Health Integration Network and Carefor Health and Community Services as well as Dr. Faye Goldman for their exceptional care of Barbara during her illness. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre – 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa, on Saturday, December 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A celebration of Barbara’s life will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment and reception to follow. Memorial donations can be made to the Phoebe Rose Rocks Foundation at http://phoeberoserocks.com/. <br> <br>Le 13 décembre 2018, Barbara s’est éteinte paisiblement chez elle à Ottawa avec sa famille à ses côtés. Elle est née à Decatur, Illinois le 10 novembre 1942. Elle est la fille de feus James et Vera Holley. Elle laisse son cher conjoint avec qui elle a été mariée pendant 47 ans. Elle laisse aussi ses deux chères filles Tina (Mike Morris) et Anne-Marie (Harold Fudge) ainsi ses petits-enfants William et Christopher Morris et Madeleine et Henry Fudge et ses frères Steve Holley et Rick (Carol) Holley et sa soeur Sheryl Holley. Elle manquera beaucoup aux membres de sa famille et à ceux qui l’ont bien connue. À la suite de sa retraite comme enseignante au Glebe High School, elle a pu consacrer plus de temps aux voyages, à jouer au bridge, à lire et à passer plus temps avec ses enfants. Sa famille tient à remercier Ontario Champlain Local Health Integration Network, Carefor Health and Community Services et également notre médecin de famille, Dre Faye Goldman, pour leurs compétences exceptionnelles lors du traitement de sa maladie. Sa famille et ses amis peuvent lui rendre hommage au Pinecrest Remembrance Centre situé au 2500 Baseline Road à Ottawa le samedi 29 décembre de 9 :00 à 11 :00 heures du matin. Une célébration de la vie de Barbara suivra dans la chapelle à 11 :00. L’inhumation et une réception suivront.
