<div itemprop="description">Antonio De Medeiros Raposo <br>November 17, 1934 – September 19, 2018 <br> <br>It is with great sadness that the family of Antonio De Medeiros Raposo announces his passing on September 19, 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Beatrice Raposo (nee Arruda). Antonio is survived by his children, Tony Raposo (Tina Blais), Emanuel Raposo (Slavka Kundratova), Daniel Raposo (Valerie Charron), Margarida Raposo, Cidalia Raposo (Luc Crochemore) David Raposo (Caroline Millest) and his much-loved grandchildren Zac, Malik, Francesca, Angelina, Tiana, Shane, Jason, Charles, Kassandra, Christopher, Mickeal, Brian and Great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Isaac. He is also survived by his Brother Joe Raposo and his sister Maria Raposo. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Born and raised in Sao Miguel, Portugal, Antonio immigrated to Canada in 1971 and started his long career in custodial and construction services. He retired in the late 1990’s and followed his other passions in gardening and wine making. He enjoyed family gatherings, spaghetti westerns, prayer and a glass of wine. <br> <br>Special thanks to all of the wonderful health care providers at Medex on Baseline Rd. <br> <br>The Wake will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery located at 2500 Baseline Rd. on September 23rd, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral Mass will take place at Paroquia Senhor Santo Cristo Parish located at 1100 Kenaston St, Gloucester on September 24th, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Donations, in our father’s memory, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society with a heartfelt thanks. <br> <br></div>
