Alaine "Elaine" Margaret O'Hara (nee Rooney)

January 10, 1957 - August 30, 2020

Peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the age of 63. Survived by her children Patricia (Jamie Walker) and Alexander (Stevie-Anne Main). Sister of Timothy Rooney (Elaine), Patricia Rooney (the late Brian Schultz) and Gregory Rooney (Erin). Predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Margaret Rooney, brothers David and Brian Rooney. The family would like to thank the Oncology Care Team at the Ottawa Hospital and the CREA staff for all their support and care for Alaine. A memorial service to be held at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Alaine was a wonderful woman.
Growing up , she was a delight. Jack and Doreen were her God-parents and they loved her dearly. Alaine has always struck me as being very kind , measured and calm. Gone too soon.
