He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Deborah (McNeely). <br><br>Loving father of Amy (Alain Lamothe) and Rob (Cheryl MacDonald); very proud Grandpa of Ben, Dominique and Danica Lamothe, and Noah Donoghue. Also survived by his sister Helen Logan (Ron), mother-in-law Edna McNeely, brother-in-law Ken McNeely (Judy). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews; dearly missed by many friends.<br><br>Predeceased by his parents, William and Verna (Sloan) Donoghue, father-in-law John McNeely, brother-in-law Keith McNeely.<br><br>The Donoghue family extends a very heartfelt thanks to the ICU, AMA and 8th Floor staff of the Ottawa Hospital's General Campus for the excellent care they provided to Ken and the support they gave to each member of the family.<br><br>Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, on Sunday January 8th at 3pm followed by a reception .<br>In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Exercise Lung Program of the Ottawa Lung Association or to another charity of <br></div>
