<div itemprop="description">Wanda Boyd (Price) Illman&nbsp; died peacefully Tuesday Sept 13th at the age of 94. Born in Campbellton NB, Wanda completed Normal School and taught briefly until leaving for Ottawa.&nbsp; She married William (Bill) Illman on Sept 22, 1945.&nbsp; Wanda possessed a delicate sense of beauty and an artistic flair.&nbsp; She was a determined pioneer advocate for smoke free public places in Ottawa, remaining steadfast in that fight in the face of resistance, sometimes much to the embarrassment of her family.&nbsp; Left to celebrate her life are children Beth (Bob) Carson, Nancy Illman and Meg Illman-White, son in law David Illman-White, grandchildren Cynthia, Rachel, Rebekah, Miriam and Sean and great grandchildren Lucie, Madelaine, Edwina, Lawrence and Amy, sister Betty Barron, and brothers Jim (Gene) and&nbsp; Howard (Lois), devoted nephew Kerry (Mira) Price and many other beloved nieces and nephews.&nbsp; Wanda was predeceased by her husband Bill Illman and best friend Justine Lips.&nbsp; A celebration of her life will be held at Rideau Park United Church on Friday September 16 th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Peter Lougheed officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to Friends of the Farm or The Ottawa Mission.</div>
