<div itemprop="description">Passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Born in Budapest, Hungary on June 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Jozsef and Terez (nee Nagy) Mihalcsik. Predeceased by her husband of 61 years Lajos Paksi. She is survived by her children Theresa Lafleur (Arvin Jelliss), Silvia (Stephen Omond) and Louis (Judy) Paksi; her brother Josef Michalčik, 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. She is also predeceased by her siblings Magdalena and Agnes. She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and many dear friends. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre – 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa on Monday, February 17 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon. Reception to follow. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
