Susan Alexandra McGrath

July 8, 1942 -  August 26, 2020

Unexpectedly at her residence at Granite Ridge on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at the age of 78 years. Susan was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Stevenson (nee Wilson). She was the beloved wife of the late James “Jim” McGrath. Loving mother of Melissa (Pete) and Mathew. Proud grandmother to Chase, Kaelen and Liam (Kristy). Cherished sister to Robert (Eileen) Stevenson. Dear aunt to Sherry (Briju) and Andrew (Samantha) Stevenson. The family extend their special thanks to the wonderful staff at Granite Ridge for their care and compassion. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. All who wish to attend must sign up using this link https://signup.com/go/xGqzgBv Social distancing and masks are required. Mom just loved having all her grandsons visits. Go Fish wasnt her only favourite thing, but blowing bubbles with Kaelen was too. She joked she was good at bubbles because she had a lot of hot air.

Mom LOVED her flowers and her gardens. As a kid growing up, I’ll always remember her putting around in her gardens all day while soaking up the sun. She had the best tan around. I recall her winning awards for her beautiful gardens as well.
