In Celebration of

Stephanie Nugent

September 26, 1972 -  November 11, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie Nugent (nee Alexander) on Wednesday November 11th 2020, age 48 years. After a long and courageous battle with breast cancer, Stephanie passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Cherished daughter of Betty and the late Barrie Alexander, dear wife of John and loving mother to Carmen. Fond sister to Michael (Leah), the late Jennifer Botte, and sister in law to Jill (Milad). Caring aunt to Morgan, Laura, Connor, Adriana and Mikaela. Stephanie was a much loved teacher at Roland Michener Public School for 21 years. She dearly loved summers at the cottage. Many thanks to Dr.Hilton, Dr.Gertler, Nancy Drummond, and the palliative care team at the General Hospital. A private family service will be held.

John, Carmen, Betty and family,

We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Thinking of when we had the opportunity to share time with Steph, your Bucerias family vacation comes to mind; events at the Alexander residence. Stephanie was a vibrant young woman, outgoing & friendly with a kind heart. A dedicated teacher following her Dad’s example. Her accomplishments raising awareness and funds for Breast cancer, participating in the 60km walk and sharing her story - someone so special can never be forgotten. May your memories help you find peace and comfort. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. Hugs.
