Ross Murphy
November 11, 1929 - April 8, 2018
"DIED Ross Murphy, age 88 in Ottawa. Ross was an early employee of Computing Devices of Canada and CFRA radio. He was the founder and proprietor of Consumers Television Service and Allied TV Rentals.
Eternally saddened by the untimely loss of his children Roslyn, Sean and Allison, Ross is survived by sons Michael (Mary Neo), Stephen and daughter Kathryn (Mark Thomson) he will be missed by his cousins Janet, Diane and Joan, as well as his adoring nieces and nephews. He took great pride as grandfather to Jessica (Derek), Adam, Isaac, Elizabeth (Trent), Keenan and Nicol.
Ross made loyal friends everywhere he went and kept them for life.
Many thanks from Ross' family to the dedicated staff of the Queensway Carleton for their care in his last hours. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Salvation Army.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the First Unitarian Fellowship Hall, 30 Cleary Avenue, Ottawa."
