Suddenly in hospital surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the age of 85. Survived by his loving wife Alice (nee MacDonald). Father of Alan, Russell, Stephen, Kim (Ken), Kathy (Mike) and Michael. Grandfather of Roger (Josè), Julie (Don), Jessica (Shawn), Kyle (Sarah), Tyler, Karlie and Caitlin (Robert). Great- grandfather of Josh, Riley, Karson, Abigail and Grayson. Brother of June (Ed), Pat (Ron), Russ (Gale), Diane (Colin), Theresa (Leslie), Susan (Mario), Kenny (Diane) and Geraldine. Predeceased by his parents, Emmett and Maude, sister Barbara and brothers Kevin, Stephen and Earl. Ron will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Martin de Porres Church, 3891 Old Richmond Road, Bell Corners on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow in the parish hall. In memory of Ron, donations may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
