In Celebration of

Rolf Brandstetter

July 16, 1932 -  July 4, 2020

Peacefully, with family by his side on July 4th 2020, Rolf Brandstetter, loving husband and best friend of his late wife Elfriede Brandstetter. He will be missed dearly by his three children Carmen (Dwight), Brian (Nancey), and Sandra (Jim). His grandchildren Tony (Kelly), Matt (Ally), Lisa, Nicole (Brandon), Christine, Jamie (Sarah), Cory and Curtis. Extra loved by his great grandchildren Hayden, Owen, Brinley, Isla, Daxton and all the fur babies. Predeceased by younger brother Robert, survived by brother Erhard (Edeltraud) sisters Helga (Manfred) and Christel (Wolfgang). Rolf will fondly be remembered by his love for music, his beautiful singing voice and the wisdom only one could acquire through a lifetime of experiences. Growing up in Germany during WW2 and leaving his home for Canada at the age 18 was just a small testament of his strength and bravery. Together, with his wife of 57 years, they built a life full of joy, laughter and adventure. A marriage with enough love and respect to last a lifetime. The family are comforted knowing that Rolf and Elfriede are once again by each other’s side.A large thank you to the staff at Hazeldean Gardens for their care and support.
