In Celebration of

Raymond Harold Crilly

May 16, 1935 -  April 17, 2020

Passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on April 17th, 2020 at the age of 84. Loving father of Edward (Cathy), and Nancy (John Laurin). Beloved poppy of Natasha (Andy Lux), Graham (Carla), Krysten, Corey, Geoffrey (Kayla), Lisa (Shawn) and Bradley (Tiara). Wonderful great grandfather to Dallis, Dalton, Madeleine, Paige, Anton, Dillon and Riley. Great great grandfather to Eli. Survived by brother Patrick (Shirley), sister Carolyn Langton, sisters-in-law Wendy Crilly and Beatrice Ambridge and many nieces and nephews.

Reunited with his love and best friend Mary (predeceased 2008) whom he missed dearly. Also predeceased by daughter Brenda, brother Kenneth, brother-in-law William Langton and mother Beatrice. Cherished friend of Katie, Rob, Margaret and Grazyna.

Ray was a skilled heavy duty mechanic, spending many years working for George W. Drummond. The highlight of his career was working alongside his son at Crilly Chassis Works, where his knowledge and love of cars and trucks was known and appreciated by many. His proudest achievement above all others was the love of his family.

The family would like to thank the many nurses, doctors, especially Nurse Ginette and PSW David who were amazing in Ray’s time of need.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Amanda Langton (Niece)

Entered April 21, 2020 from Aylmer, Quebec

He was loved by so many, for his gruff exterior, his warm gentle heart, and his 'subtle' sense of humour.
I know he & dad are going to enjoy looking down on their family together. Let's make them proud and keep living the good family life like they taught us. We can support each other through our grief, and this stupid virus that keeps us apart.
Virtual hugs to all, for now. Real hugs are coming.
