Passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 with family by his side at age 91. Beloved husband of the late Ioanna. Loving father of Kleomenis, Mihalis and Panayiota (Pasquale Nicastro). Proud grandfather to Joanna and Peter Tsarouhas; Terry Tsarouhas, and Peter Lagace. Survived by his sister Matoula (John Koutsovasilis) and predeceased by his brothers Theodore and Niko. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff of the 4th Floor at Saint Vincent Hospital for their care and compassion.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) on Friday, July 7 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 9 p.m. with trisagion prayers at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Kimissis "Dormition" of the Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church 1315 Prince of Wales Drive on Saturday, July 8 at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart Institute would be appreciated.
