<div itemprop="description">Passed away at home surrounded by his family. Leaving to mourn are his devoted wife of 70 years, Jean (nee Vincent), children; Charlotte Farmer (Robert), David (Dena), Helen (Bill Ramadani) and Alice, grandchildren; Kathryn, Matthew, Stephen (Jane), Christine (Neal), Alexander (Kaitlyn), Nicholas and Genevieve as well as his nieces and nephews in Canada, Europe and Australia. Predeceased by his sisters Maureen Ellis and Marjorie Johnston. Noel emigrated from Belfast, N. Ireland with wife Jean in 1954 and settled in Ottawa in 1955. He retired in 1984 after 28 years with the City of Ottawa Roads Department and as Director of Design and Construction for the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton. Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Monday, February 19th from 1 pm until time of the service in the chapel at 3pm. Reception to follow. A graveside service will be held at the Pinecrest Cemetery on Tuesday, February 20th at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.</div>
