<div itemprop="description">SHEU, May Mei-Chu <br>May Mei-Chu (Beautiful Pearl) Sheu, née Hsiao, passed away peacefully at Saint Vincent Hospital on Monday, June 19, 2017. May was born January 17, 1945 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan to Hua-Ming Hsiao and Ying T’ao Tai Hsiao. A graduate of Taiwan National University and of Dalhousie University in the biological sciences, May loved to tend to her houseplants and garden, and was a passionate cook. May worked at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and also at Century21 Goldleaf in her later years. May will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Constant and their children, Carolynn, Carey (Michael) and Kelvin. Beloved and doting grandmother to Lea May, who brought her much joy and laughter. May will also be greatly missed by her brothers and sisters, extended family and her niece Grace Hsiao, in particular. Deepest appreciation to friends and the Ottawa Chinese Bible Church family for their boundless support, love and generosity. Special thanks to the Ottawa General Hospital and Saint Vincent Hospital staff. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre – 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa on Saturday, July 8th from 3pm to 5pm Memorial Service will be held at the Ottawa Chinese Bible Church - 31 Graham Avenue on Sunday, July 9th at 2:00pm. Private inurnment to take place at Pinecrest Cemetery. In Memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Campus Evangelical Fellowship or the Canadian Cancer Foundation.</div>
