<div itemprop="description">Maurice "Moe" Auger, <br>Passed way on January 5, 2018 at the age of 91. He was a beloved husband of the late Audrey Auger (nee Ferguson). Loving father of Rose-Marie, Carole, and his devoted and helpful son-in-law Claude Lavergne. He will be missed by his granddaughter Nathalie, his great-grandson Steven, great-granddaughter Tammy, and the fifth generation Audrey-Rose Lavergne. He was the son of the late Joseph Auger and Victoria Lablanc. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Mélina (Hector Carrière), Arthur (Élisabeth Tessier), Desneiges (Denis Scott), Simone (Iréné Sénécal), Lucia (Henri Boudreault), Donat (Jeannette Laurin), Florence (Léo Joanisse), Jacqueline (Albini Giroux) and Clairette (Conrad Bastien). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends. Moe worked at the CPR (Canadian Pacific Railway) as a telegraphist for the House of Commons on Parliament Hill. The family wishes to thank doctor Jean Godbout who took care of Moe for nearly forty years. A thank you as well to the director, staff, and residents of Domaine des Trembles. <br>A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 20 at Our Lady of Annunciation (189 Archambeault St, Gatineau) at 11 a.m. the family will receive condolences from 10:30 on. <br>In memory of Maurice Auger donations to the Canadian Heart Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated. On January 12, it is the fifth anniversary of the death of his beloved wife Audrey Auger Ferguson. This is what he said to her every day: "I think of you every day, Audrey; till we meet again, love and kisses, your husband, Moe. XXX"</div>
