On Sunday November 25, 2018 at Queensway Carleton Hospital, surrounded by those who loved her at the age of 82 years. Predececeased by her loving husband Carl Vuylsteke and a loving mother of Jim in Toronto and John in Ottawa. Fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Sandra, and her grandson, Noah. She was predeceased by her brother George and his wife, Marianne. She is predeceased by and her brother Bruce, and is survived by his wife, Mary. She is survived by her brothers Paul, David and Robert and their wives, Sharon, Elma and Carol as well as a multitude of nephews and nieces. The family wish to thank the staff at Cityview Retirement Home and the staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, for making her last days as comfortable as possible. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) on Sunday December 2 between 7:00 and 9:00 pm. A funeral will be held at the chapel on Monday December 3 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow. Interment will take place at a later date in Pinecrest Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the CNIB will be gratefully acknowledged.
