Mary Margaret (Peggy) O'Neill
(nee Kinsella)
August 15 1925 - March 22, 2018
Peggy was smart, funny, keenly observant and a devoted mother and grandmother. The oldest daughter of a loving family, she was a Registered Nurse, sports lover and avid bridge player. Widowed at 54 from the love of her life, Bernie O’Neill, she is survived by her four children, Jim, Mary Jane (Claude), Liz and Peggy (Karl) and her precious grandchildren, Nicolas (Adeline), Isabelle (Guillaume), Alex and Brigid. She will be greatly missed by her brother Jack Kinsella (Kay), and her sisters, Sr. Betty Ann (GSIC), Mimi Pollock as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Bill (RCAF, 1945) and sister, Sr. Bernadette (GSIC). Also predeceased by brother-in-law Sam Pollock and sister-in-law Teresa Gleeson (Marty). A service will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, hug someone you love. Giving to charities was important to Mom. Donations to Youville Centre or a charity of your choice would be a lovely tribute. The family would like to thank the May Court Hospice for their care and compassion.
