<div itemprop="description">With heavy hearts, we must announce the sudden passing of Joshua “Josh” McCully, on November 9, 2018. He was 24 years old. Joshua was born in Northern Ireland on August 26, 1994, to Eric McCully and the late Gillian McCully. He was the stepson of Kelly Torrance. He is survived by his sister Rachel (Daphnee), and brothers Simon (Jaime), Andrew (Amanda), and Jacob, nephews and nieces, Jordyn, Kate, Jackson, Grace, and Nathan. Josh was the beloved grandson of William and Martha McCully, Gordon and Dorothy Crawford, and the late Doreen Crawford, Jeanie and the late Tom Torrance. He will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Josh’s unforgettable, cheeky smile truly reflected his personality. He was a charming and loving child who grew into a young man whose essence was kindness. He loved to cultivate things and watch them grow – plants, animals, and relations. His creative flair shone through his culinary endeavours, our little Irish Chef. He will always be remembered for his love of nature and compassion for animal life. Long live the love and kindness that comes down and through and onto all of us. Josh moved from Northern Ireland with his family to Canada in 2004. Passionate about his home country and most at home in the natural world, he followed the tune to his favorite song: Life is old there, older than the trees Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze Country roads, take me home To the place I belong. We will gather to remember Josh at a memorial reception on Wednesday, November 21 from 4-8 pm at Pinecrest Remembrance Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Online condolences and donations can be made in memory of Josh to CHEO, or Big Sky Ranch Animal Sanctuary. </div>
