<div itemprop="description">A beautiful soul left her earthly body on Thursday, June 21st, 2018 at 3:30 a.m. Helen Bergeron passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 99 in the West End Villa nursing home. She was predeceased by her husband Ernie Bergeron. Cherished mother to Carole Moritz (Klaus Moritz). Beloved grandmother to Jeanette Laffoon and Mark Laffoon. Beloved great-grandmother to Christopher Hanson, Katy Hanson, Patrick Hanson and Trevor Laffoon. Helen also leaves behind her cousin Bruce Learned (Ann Learned) and her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews on both sides of her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Madelyn Kerr (the late Raymour Kerr), her late brother Howard Picard (the late Reta Picard) and her late son-in-law John Laffoon. <br> <br>Grateful thanks are extended to the staff of the West End Villa, who made Helen’s last days comfortable and who were so compassionate in their care of her in her dying days. Thank you as well to the staff of Cole Funeral Services for their professionalism and compassion shown while bringing Helen into their care. <br> <br>Family and friends may visit at St Isidore Roman Catholic Parish (1135 March Rd, Kanata) on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow in the Parish at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment at Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa). A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow in the Pinecrest Solarium. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Helen may be directed to The Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice. <br> <br></div>
