After a long struggle with cancer, Helena Teresa Spath passed into God's arms at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by her first husband Stanislaw Skrobek and her second husband Martin Spath. She will be missed by Elizabeth (Mark) Diotte, Mark Skrobek, and Jan (Anna/Alicia) Skrobek; her beloved grandchildren Matthew (Sarah) Skrobek, Serena and Isabella Skrobek, Eric and Aleksandra Diotte and great-granddaughter Nora Skrobek; also a brother and family in Poland and France; Linda and Sally Spath.
Family will receive friends on Friday, December 22 at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa) from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, December 23 at St. Hyacinth Parish (201 Lebreton St. N., Ottawa) at 10 a.m.
The interment will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery, to be followed by a reception.
