She immigrated to Canada, after WWII, with her parents and 4 brothers. Loving mother of Jenny Shea and Angie Shea and cherished Mum-Mum to her Granddaughter, Amber Gabriel. Predeceased by her Father, Rex Geoffrey Guy and Mother G. May (Mic) Hedgecox-Guy, and her eldest brother, Rex Geoffrey Guy II. Mary is survived by many Nieces and Nephews, as well as her extended family in England and the USA, who all share fond memories of her.
Due to current circumstances, there will be a small family inurnment and a Celebration of Life will be held once her family abroad can travel to Canada.

I had the honor of being a part of Mum mum’s extended family. She was full of life and enjoyed living her life to its fullest. She welcomed my mother, my son and me into her heart . Mum Mum and my mother quickly became friends and often spoke , exchanged notes and sent each other trinkets and books. She and my mom often spoke of their daughters’ , Jenny and I who have grown close like sisters. They also sang praises about Amber . Mum Mum gave Amber all the greater things in life. Art, music, history and unconditional love. Memories Amber holds close in her heart. Mum Mum was an amazing woman, strong , successful and determined to always take care of her family. I am truly grateful for having the opportunity to have been considered part of her family and know the special woman she was. I know she is in heaven now having tea with my mom. Enjoy ladies we love you both dearly 💜
