Gennaro (a.k.a Rino) Gallo
Passed away in hospital on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Ada. Loving father of Stella (Aldo), Antonietta (Matthew) and Loredana (Micah). Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Matteo, Amelia, Alissa, Marcus and Baby Johnston to be. Brother to Vincenzo (Angela) and Gerardina (Salvatore). Predeceased by his parents Matteo Gallo and Stella Siniscalchi. Rino will also be missed by his nieces and nephews in Italy. The family wish to thank all the staff at the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital for taking such good care of Rino in his final days. Family and friends may visit at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 427 Booth Street, Ottawa on Friday, September 28 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Cancer Foundation or the Eisabeth Bruyere Hospital would be appreciated.
