March 21,1942 - September 23, 2018.
Suddenly at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Sunday, September 23, 2018, Allan Dosdall of Ottawa passed away at the age of 76 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret and his brother Ron Dosdall of Saskatchewan. Sadly missed by his wife Joan, son Michael (Jesse) sister Gwen Reilkoff (Lorne), and sister in law Dolce (Kirby) Campbell. Fondly remembered by his daughter Karen, grandson Nicholas (Lisa), extended family and friends. University of Saskatchewan, Bachelor of Pharmacy, class of 1967. Allan and his friend John Sullivan headed east for Expo ’67, and never looked back. Allan was a proud long time ‘friend of Bill’s’. Allan will be remembered for his warmth and kind soul. Special thanks to the staff on the 4th floor ALC unit at the QCH for their care and compassion. Inurnment of ashes will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Allan’s memory to Parkinson Society of Ottawa or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated. A celebration of life will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance Centre, 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa, at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018.
