It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Ritchie (nee Momy) on April 19, 2020 at the age of 84. Frances passed peacefully with family surrounding her at Almonte Country Haven. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Ritchie for 64 years.

Loving mother of Laura (Jean), Clifford (Penny), Clinton (Cheryl), Mark (Cholie), Glen, Adrianne (Neil), and Blair (Angèle).

Adoring grandmother of Evan (Season Rose), Erin (David), Elaine (Devin), Lisa (Ryan), Jennifer (Danijel), Kelly (Matt), Patrick (Liane), Philippe (Éricka), Samantha (Nick), Alexandra (Richard), and Jonathan (Nicole).

Great-Grandmother of Jersie-Lynn, David, Maylie, Cassidy, Cédrick, Rowen, Westen, Griffen, Lily, Rose, Raelynn and Georgia.

Dear sister of Lorraine, Maurice (Doris) Peter (Nydia). Predeceased by brothers Leonard and Gerry and sisters, Jacqueline and Madeleine.

Frances’s family would like to express their gratitude to the outstanding staff at Almonte Country Haven for their compassionate care and kindness.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Almonte Country Haven Long Term Care Home or to Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).
